Beyond Proficient Technology!

Beyond the passion for high performance cutting edge web technology solutions and marketing for greater market share,
Webgeria's essence is founded on friendship, community and a vision to inspire and encourage aspiration in people
in the diaspora. Supporting their ideas blossom with a helpful and expert customer care driven reliability.
Webgeria is not a narrative of product features, marketing strategies and dominant market shares
but a vision of an idealistic and ethical company that synthesises top-notch web technology and
empathetic, user-focused support that will excite, motivate and fulfil.

Our founders, Chiemeka Ozumba and John Oke have first
hand experience of the challenges associated with business startups.
They have co-managed several business, advocacy and development projects.
They recognise that the internet remains pivotal in today's world; whether the project
is a business venture, a hobby, just trying to reach an audience or desire to positively impact
people and communities. More often than not, great ideas do not materialise because of limited
understanding or dread to exploit the unlimited benefits of the internet. At the core of our product
development is passion to grant millions of new entrants access to the internet.

Webgeria.com is at the heart of the brand ecosystem of Dotgeria Internet Limited. Registered in England and Wales, Dotgeria Internet Limited was conceptualised as an Internet Workshop of Ideas with the vision to become a dominant hub, Internetting People and Places for the West African Diaspora across the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and the United States of America.

The company was founded in May 2019 in Biggleswade, an old Anglo Saxon market town in Central Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. Dotgeria Internet Limited was formally registered as a company in England and Wales on 12th July 2019.

The story of Dotgeria started about 20 years prior; it is a narrative of long years of friendship; interlocking conversations, debates, broken dreams, failed businesses, collaboration, disagreement, voluntary community service, you name it! The ideal, “For Humanistic Ideals”, advocacy, activism and still finding time to identify and help others found startups.

Dotgeria Internet is the brainchild of Chiemeka Ozumba (Digital Designer, Poet and Humanitarian) and John Oke (Business Consultant, Tailor and Activist). Their friendship began sometime in the early 2000s on the wise streets of Aba (Enyimba City); the mercantile, commercial and creative hub of Eastern Nigeria. In their 30s Chiemeka migrated to London, United Kingdom and John to the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Nigeria.

With over 40 years of combined cognate experience in technology, digital design, brand development and business consulting (working frequently with MSME start-ups and Development Institutions), our founders Chiemeka Ozumba and John Oke have invested significant passion and proficiency in creating unique web solutions for inspirational and aspirational people. Our founders have drawn insight from their in-depth life and professional background to establish Webgeria.com to help entrepreneurs achieve success with their ideas.

With degrees in English/Literature and Public Relations from Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Chiemeka has over 20 years experience in graphics and website design, customer services and public relations. Chiemeka has worked for Design-in-Print UK (Graphics and digital design campany), Ocado (the world's largest dedicated online grocery retailer) and Amazon (The largest online shopping platform in the world), Chiemeka has founded a number of startups Gardnas (florist renting company servicing the banking sector in Nigeria), Imagine Limited (A graphics design studio), ishopinlondon.com (online shopping services from UK to West Africa).

John has a B.Sc Degree in Management and over 25 years working experience; having spent the first 10 years of his working career at UNILEVER and most of the next 15 years spent between managing his own businesses and working with Development Institutions to provide entrepreneurial training and mentoring support to Micro, Small and Medium scale Enterprises (MSME’s). John is the cofounder of Chancery Consulting (A management consulting firm) and Makulu Clothing Brand (A fashion design house). John began the Nigerian Fashion Policy Dialogue which is run in conjunction with The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
